Help - Resizing pictures

What's the best/easiest/quickest way to resize pictures without loosing quality? I've got some that are too big for the forum and need to make them smaller. Tried photobucket but it makes them rubbish quality. I have photoshop but I'm sh*t with it. But the size that is ideal is when photoshop opens them up in 25% size, quality is spot on and size is good. Anyone help? How do I make them that size?

If you use XP download ImageResizer..

Its a simple case of right click on file and pick a size, not sure if the quality will be as good as original though...

Photoshop if you've got it, or if your using them for internet, try somewhere like photobucket where you can resize your uploaded pics

the xp image resizer is great and quick for simple reducements.
