Help Track Down My Old Car

Im interested to know if my old Mk1 Valver is still alive. I want another and want that one back if its still in good condition!

Registration was L768 BKN. A check on the DVLA site about the status of the vehicle doesn't through anything up apart from an error message.

Anyone know of a way to find out if a car is still registered to someone??

I know the guy who 'had' my old 172.

He rolled it through a field and ditched it trying to out do a Evo 6 by all accounts.

Sounds like it's written off or sitting in a garage somewhere as it's not on the motor insurance database.

Sold it privately to someone who lives in the next town (Ipswich) but have never seen it since selling it about 3-4 years ago. I am sure it is dead
