Help - TV/Cable/PS2/Video set up

Got the cable box and PS2 linked up to the LCD TV - how do I connect the video as in what cables need to go to where? Can it all be linked in together? :S

I've not used my video in years but need to urgently record something!

Also, the cable box should have a scart input on the back Normally says VCR/Pass-Thru

This is the easiest way to plug the video recorder in. Also means you can record from cable box easy.

Yeah it is cable I need to record from - so scart from the video to the ??

The Red line is a scart cable.


Plug VCR into the Cable Box.

and your Cable box is already connected to TV i assume?

On the back of the Cable Box you are looking for the Scart labeled Scart2/VCR/Pass-Thru

Yep 2 scart sockets on the back of the cable box and I remembered I had a 'spare' scart from when I moved and couldn't work out where to put it lol and the video has been unconnected for the past year

I'm a woman, I only buy those types of things when encouraged by a guy hence the LCD tv, PS2 that have appeared on my shopping list in the past lol.
