hi guys,
new member to the club and its good to be here.
purchased a mk1 1992 about 2 month ago and now want to put a volvo 480 turbo engine in, ive got a guy in garage to do it but need to get all parts before i take it in and need a few tips if you like. hes chargin 800 quid for the conversion so if anyone can do it anywhere else for cheaper you got yourself a deal but please read on. appreciate any help.
ok, ive just bought a volvo 480 turbo (full car) however its a automatic. i would like to convert it to manual but need help on getting wat i need to do the job. would apprieciate any help on this matter.
any info guys (and girls) from anybody who can help me with this conversion i will be very gratefull.
also i have a bit of mechanical knowledge along with my friends so even if someone can do all the wiring and ill fit the engine and clutch that could be good.
i will also be upgrading the brakes and converting back to disc, wats the best way to go about this? and wats the best brakes for the job? big brakes are better as i have big wheels.
