Help .. what springs and where

[KDF]

As some of you may know I ordered some eibach springs from k-tec. They have just let me know that they may not get the springs for another 2 weeks and I really need to get them done for this w/end. They have offered Apex springs as an alternative, anybody fitted them and what are you views of them.

Does anyone know where I could order eibachs (which have them in stock) and have them delivered by Friday/Saturday morning ?

Apex over the Eibachs.........No way!!! Hope it´s not the same price??

Eibach is the best if your "only" on springs IMO

_KDF, Demon Tweeks will have them to you by the next day guaranteed mate, as you know I had to order 2 sets and both were delivered next day, we get up to 10 Cliosport discount too, give them a ring.

Also, I am sure the APEX springs lower it more than the Eibachs IIRC ?

Cheers Mate.. that just what I wanted to hear, yes k-tec did say it would lower by about 30mm which is not what I am after.

Thanks again mate, I will call them 9.00am sharp ! and I will also ask them to send the 02-22 !! ones, not the 01-22 ones !

soz to go off-topic a bit, but are the -40mm springs that BB have, are they the eibach ones?

Demon tweeks phoned, they can have them to me by tommorow !! whohoo.

Strangest thing though, I asked them what the model number is they would be sending and they insisted it was 01-22, the guy even phoned Eibach and they said it was 01-22.

I ordered 02-22 anyway as I trust k-tec, and the guy at demon tweeks did admit that they have been mis-informed by thier suppliers before.

Just happy that I got them ordered now ! and will be fitting them this w/end.

Sounds like either will be ok - Ive had the 01-22 springs on for almost 2 years now with no problems and soooooper handling.

Your probably right mike, according to k-tec though the 01s are for a 60KG lighter car. Which as most Cup owners know (and are happy to tell you) is a massive difference.

Glad you got it sorted mate.

Strange that Eibach said that the 01-22 were the right ones as their website clearly states that the 02-22 are designed for the 2.0 and 01-22 are designed for the lighter engined cars.

Like Mike said, I am sure they will both be fine but I wanted to make sure I went for the 02-22 ones that K-Tec recommended.

Good luck with the springs, I ordered a set of Spax springs, PiperX IK and clear side reps from Demon Tweeks at about 3pm yesterday and they were delivered at about 12 today. Big smiles all round Hats off to Demon Tweeks for being top mod monkeys again.
