help, which oil and how much???

hi what type of oil do i need to put in my 172? and how much to fill it from min to max?

p.s. i'm not at home to check in the little book and my mum has left me with no oil in my car! last time i let her use it dint even fill the tank

1 liter from top to bottom on the dip stick make sure your checking when cold will do damage massivly overfilling it.

10-40 or 5-40 is fine semi or fully sync doesn't matter idealy IMO change all the oil and keep using one type not that it matters though.

thanks think i'll top it up 1st thing 2mora! got a sevice soon so wont change all the oil yet
