Help wiring in a DVD Motorized Screen Headunit

just wiring it in really, is there any difference from this one to a standard Headunit? I've spoken to someone about buying one and he told me that I should get it done professionally because its quite a hard job but I just thought he wanted more money...

well i cant say without seeing as to what you will need to do but the majority of radios are on a standard iso so nice and simple, the only thing you need to do if thats ok is sort out the screen coming on,professionally its sposed to turn off when you take the handbrake off but if you earth the parking cable then it will be on all the time

Shouldn't be any more difficult than a standard head unit, Adam.

Just a few more cables that are needed to operate the DVD player.
Have you got it yet,?...Tell me what you are having a problem with and I will talk you through it.

Cheers guys, I only had a quick attempt at putting it in but my car has gone into the garage to have the rear quearter panel replaced but when I get my car back (hopefully not to long, depends when I can find some Leather seats for sale lol) I will bump the thread.

nah its all one thing, just a headunit with a motorized screen. Thats why I thought it would be easy to install but the guy trying to sell me one was trying to con me into having it "professionally' fitted for £60 or summat stupid!

I don't mean a seperate HU & Screen setup - my motorised HU has a "brain" that is hidden in the rear quarter panel.
