Help With Amp! Protection Light!

Hello,

Bought a second hand refurbished amp on ebay from what seems a very reputable company.

I connected it up and had the green light, testing it worked quickly fed some wire to my 6x9 when connected i blasted some music where speaker made some weird noises and speaker cone moved up and down, turnt amp back on and now I get the red light (protection mode). Tried unplugging speaker and don't know what it could be.

Any help please!

Have u grounded it properly? Sounds to me like the amp is not properly ground!
