Help with my internet?

Not sure why my other topic was closed? :nono:

Basically it appears some websites are not displaying on my computer. Its like a DNS error or something i just get "page cannot be displayed". Doing a spyware check now, any suggestions?

Running Vista btw.

Would the sites maybe be genuinely down?

My home page is www.sky.com and I was getting a page could not be displayed message earlier on from it!

Nah ive tried the same exact sites on a laptop right next to me its working fine (both connected to same network). Occasionally other things are missing ie all the pictures from autotrader and msn not signing in.

Its strange, only started today :S and i cant think of a cause

Maybe it's Vista specific.....I'm not Vista'd so not experiencing any other problems.

Is more than likely the webpages servers timing out, if most other websites are displaying correctly, and are refreshing quickly then I cant see there being much wrong with your internet.

Other than that....tis a vista fail. I blame Vista for everything tbqfh.


**edit** If its mainly MSN/Hotmail that you are having problems with, its a generic problem with them, used to happen to me all the time!
