Help with single wiper

Go the kit today and fitted it with wiper parked on passenger side of windscreen. Was fine until bolted new wiper in place and it swept downwards onto the bonnet!

looked at linkage and turn motor arm 180 degrees, then did it again. This time it swept up to half way then down onto the bonnet again.

I have solved this temporarily by parking the wiper in the central position. So it sweeps left half, then right half, but I want to park the wiper to the right.

I hope this makes sense, can anybody help?

yeh

get the central posistion on the motor and get the wiper centre then take the bit off of the motor and twist it 180 degrees if u get what i mean. put it back on then the wiper is to the right then when it starts it might go down a bit but should swing back u just have to keep fiddleing leave the bonnet up till u finished to stop it getting scratched or summit.

cheers mate I found out the hard way with the bonnet and got a nasty scratch on the edge

I will have to do it tomorrow coz I had already screwed everything back down and I was getting soaked coz it was tipping it down.
