Help with snow foam

  C63 AMG, F430 & 172
Is there a numptys guide?

My Guess - With questions
Pre wash with water
Spray on foam - I have the CYC Super snow foam 5ltr - how do I mix and do I add anything -gold class shampoo etc?
Leave to drip off
Spray off with water
Wash car by hand -do I need to do this?

Power wash any dirt and loose debry first then snow foam.

Leave to dwell for a bit until it looks like it's totally finished working

Then hose off, you can repeat the snow foam part to minimise damage during hand washing.

I pre wash mine [with the pressure washer]

Then pour one inch of snow foam, in the snow foam bottle i sometimes add a drop of Megs shampoo plus and fill the rest up with warm water.

Leave to dwell for about 10 mins

Spray off with the PW.

Then wash using the two bucket method.

I don't usually prewash when using the snow foam as I guessed the foam would sort out any dust etc already on....then I move on to my paitented 1 bucket method with a jumbo asda sponge ;)

lol tbh I have a sponge but it isn't very abrasive...need to get some decent stuff but tbh the 182 is fucked paintwork wise so I see no point until it gets PC'd...and my car hasn't been out since I got the snow foam so I'll see how it goes on Sat and should be nice and clean

Snow foam should never be replaced by a good wash.

All it does is drag off any loose dirt..sometimes it will loosen stuff off but not tar and stubborn marks.

I usually PW quickly mine first just so I blow off any of the surface dust. Im not entirely sure but if you were to Snow Foam straight onto a dry pant work..id imagine any dirt on there could be dragged down causing minor swirls.

Probably not and it could well be the other way around!

Some people say the snow foam clings on better on a dry car
