Help with steering rack question please.

where is the UJ on clio sport 182 steering rack. Any one got any pictures or a diagram to show me where on the rack this might be thanks!
I believe this has got play in it but o do t know where/what the bloody thing is!

The uj on to the column is hidden by the black rubber seal between the bodyshell and the rack mate. Give it a bit of a rag and all shall be revealed!

I have a steering rack question as well - do you need to drop the subframe to remove/change over a steering rack? Or can it be done without dropping it?

If you remove the power steering pipes off the rack first whilst it's still in the car you can remove the rack without dropping the subframe.
