help with wheels

can any1 tell me what is the biggest size wheels i can fit on a 172. would 8x18 fit without rubbing.

17" rub even when the arches are rolled, but 18" have been fitted to a 172 iirc. (just depends how much triming, under the arch you remove to avoid the wheels rubbing)
