help with wire from engine.

my clio has a wire that's been knocked out coming from engine now when it's on it makes a whilstling noise mpg has gone down anyone know what this could be?? wire doesn't go back into connector

isnt that the tube for the fuel vapous that goes to the carbon canistor filter?

would this cause me to be using more fuel and be getting less mpg?

Shouldnt do. I removed my carbon canister, and cut that cable and sealed it off. Not noticed any difference.

nah u wont if its taken out n blocked off correctly , but left loose in engine bay isnt a good idea,

wont it just clip back on

oh right. cars making a whistling noise and the wire does not go back in. cars using so much fuel

filled the hole with a screw but cars still using loads of fuel clueless to this now, just had a new elec throttle body fitted and its never felt right since then

mechanic who fitted your tb broke the hose? let him sort it. needs to be airtight.
