I need to find out




What model the cd/dvd burner is on my laptop , can anyone tell me where to look to find this info please ....need to d/l new driver as it keeps crashing when i play or copy a dvd

doesnt it tell you this when you first turn it on, tells you what drives etc there are, at the menu before the bios

control panel, system, hardware, device manager, cd/dvd rom drives.

Yeah, the BIOS will tell you. If not device manager will, assuming you're on an M$ OS.

Windows button and break press together, then hardware tab and Device Manager. Pick DVD/CD-ROM Drives, right click, then properties.
