Help!!

My dad picked my clio up for me yesterday and said that when it started it was running idle at 3000 RPM!! Then he said it will vary between 500-2000 RPM? How can I fix this? Or is it something that I should maybe get a garage to do?

hey, i wouldnt worry too much , iv got a mk1 1.4rt and it is the exact same, idle between 500-2000rpm, and it hasnt caused me any problems yet!!!

Just seems odd that it does it, you would of thought it would be a constant idle speed rather than varying

yeah i agree, i suppose 4 peace of mind u could take to a garage!!id like to no wat they say, so i no whether its a fault, or whether they all do it?

Jet the ICV with brake cleaner, blast it through the manifold aswell while your there.
