i clayed my car recently but have only had the time to use gold class polish on it.

i really want to protect it so that 1. all the crap comes off easily and 2. so that the paint is protected from anymore contaminants etc.

i was thinking this is the process in which i need to do it?

1. wash with gold class shampoo
2.polish with gold class
3.sealant??
4.wax??

is this right?

if so can anyone suggest a sealant and a wax?

i've heard meguairs #16 paste wax is good?

not sure about sealants?

thanks guys :)

Gold class is a cleaner wax, it lightly polishes/cleans and waxes, dont rate it myself - best of with a decent polishand sealant combo IMO.

Wash - Gold Class Shampoo
Polish - Autoglym Super Resin
Seal - Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection
Wax - #16 would be good for winter

cheers for the info rich, the autoglym stuff is it all liquid?
is that always the best way/only way to do it in terms of process?

If using AG EGP that is the only way to do itreally. The EGP will only bond properly to the Resin Polish or to something like Klasse AIO.

The Resin is a fairly thick liquid, where as the EGP is a very watery liquid.
