just a thread to see if any1 can help me.. i have 1.4 16v ph1 and it seems a bit sluggish wen pulling away, whats the options to make it a bit more responsive without updrading exhaust etc. thnks

Let it get low on petrol! No really! My little old 1.2 was like a rocket when it was almost out of juice!

i know its not what you want to hear but a 1.4 clio wasnt really made to pull away quick so to speak but you could try some of the below...

Service? air filter clean?
check tyre pressures
clear all the s**t out that you might ave in there, reducing weight.
