my alternators gone went to charge my battery last night so i locked the car first and kept the bonnet open charged the battery over night went to put the battery on this morning and the alarm went off fo a second and went off???? now i have nothing!!!!!no ignition no nothing not a light in sight !!!!!!what have i done wrong can anyone help please could it be an immobaliser problem ???

Unlock the car, take the battery off, leave it off for half hour or so, let it reset it self, then connect it back up, make sure the car aint locked.

What i guess has happened is that you locked the car, but you left the bonnet up, well the bonnet has an alarm sensor on it, so if you open it when alarms set, it goes off.

Because it was open when you connected the battery but the car was locked, i guess it got all confused.

Unlock the car and disconnect the battery for half hour or more, leave it unlocked!, then connect it after 30 - 45 mins, Should be fine.

By the way, a few commas wouldnt hurt, hard to read!
