HELP !

i rewired my speakers today as they were mostly all taped up connections that

i did temporary as i didnt have time to do it properly

now ive done it tho ive got a problem, the sound is there, but i seem to have lost some of it

a bit of volume and a lot of bass, it seems a lot more trebly than before

it seemed to change when i connected the -s of the speakers, have i done somethin wrong

before when it was just taped i could get TONS of bass out of em, but now its really crap

any ideas ?

It sounds a bit like you have got your connections the wrong way round.

If you have your "+" and "-" connected to the wrong wires your speakers will move in the wrong directions. so you will get sh1t sound.

to test it, go to your car and direct all the sound to one speaker then listen to a song with the wires one way, then change them to the other way.

sorted it, you were right mate, though it was because of me using a Pro Plus hi-level input, the wires are in diff places than my Kicker amp so i needed a - connected to a + to make it right (really a + to +)........black to red
