Hesitation When Cold

  172 Cup
Hi Guys,

Did search for this first but everything seemed a lot worse than what i'm experience.

Basically when the car is cold, pulling off slowly it feels as if the car isn't firing properly or hesistating in pulling the fuel through.

Is this a common sort of problem?

Thanks

Mark

from my experience and reading other threads, yea, all clios are rough as sin when cold. apparently a remap can get rid of this!

i get this kind of problem. when the car is cold. there is reduced power and it seems to be restricted. as soon as the temp raises the car goes as normal. what is this?

Yes that is common!

Engine runs in a closed loop config. when cold...

After a mile or so she should 'open'...
Has nothing to do with fuel or so... it's about the emission regulations.

+1 The power on mine is very lumpy for the first few minutes.

Now Bark... owning a Clio Sport is like making love to a beautiful woman, you have to be gentle to begin with but then give her a good thrashing after shes warmed up...

My 2001 Phase 1 172 is the exact same.

It essence though, you should never attempt to drive it hard from cold anway, you have to treat it like a lady.

You have to caress her and care for her then when shes warm you pull her hair and call her a dirty wh0re lol

I run it on V power which seems to help the cause a little, not much but some
