wide Car 193 mk2 Dec 21, 2005 #8 iv'e got a 172 mk2 with eibach sportsline springs & 17"s with an ET37 they fit fine no rubbing!!! so you should be fine m8.

haitch Car EK9 + Mfactory gearing.. Dec 21, 2005 #9 mk2 172 is ET48.5, mine was down 40mm with ET38 on 195/45/16 with no problems.
