Hi Guys!

  Fiesta ST
Looking to get a Clio 182, I'm coming from a Fiesta ST im looking for something i can have some fun on a track with!

What sort of things should i be looking out for? The car will mainly be used for general driving and some track days on the weekend as its coming towards summer :)

Welcome to CS :)

Pics of the ST?

Also, make sure it has good service history and the belts have been done by a REPUTABLE specialist at the right times.

Cheers!
Haven't got any on this laptop! It's just a standard ST i never really bonded with it in the way i wanted too :(.

After something that's more fun out of the box and i can throw a spanner too!

My friends got a DC5 and basically wants to do track days and i fear the little fiesta wont cut it with out some serious modifications.

While the 182 comes pretty neat out the box with only needing a few minor changes like bushes and a decent p/w! (probably comes across as im taking it seriously but i just want a lot of fun tbh!)

You made a good choice imho.

Out of curiosity, what made you choose the 182 rather than a Trophy, 172, 172 Cup, Ph1 172?

Trophy's have SERIOUSLY come down in price of late and if you ask the likes of Sir_Dave and Sam@BTM who have both had a lot of track experience in theirs the Trophy would be perfect for what you want.

Budget tbh, 3.2k and figured the 182 has some mod cons with a decent set up - quite like the twin exhaust at the back along with the xenons! Haven't found one yet thought some are abit scruffy :/.

Trying to find one with a decent set of discs and pads along with tyres seems quite hard!

It kinda ticks all box's, i will be driving it around a bit for personal use so little gadgets are always nice to fiddle with Lol.

Also how can i tell a Cup from a standard 182?

alsooo are both the front seats height adjustable?
