As a few people know, my car's gone a while looking and sounding a bit tired and unloved. It was down at BTM with Fred in December for the full works, then I drove it home only to find I have lost my V5C, so it sat covered in sh*te in my car park for another month. :dapprove:
Once it was running sweet again (cheers Fred), I set about some cosmetic TLC. I had all four wheels refurbished again, plus new bolts and centre caps and diamonds. It's also recently had new 2.0 badges and front diamond. I decided to stay with the standard badges now, since I got a bit bored with the coloured ones. I'm in the process of buying some Alcantara bits for the interior, so I'll get some pics when they're fitted.
I also had all the little dings and parking dents pulled yesterday. The fellas ran out of daylight in the end, so I still have a few tiny ones to finish this weekend. No biggie. I've now added a full-width plate, since having the 3/4 for ages, I got bored of it.
The engine bay also got a bit of a refresh lately, with Fred spraying most of the engine parts matte black, leaving me to spray my upper inlet and fuel rail guard the same colour. I've done them both, but not fitted either yet. Once they're fitted I'll add the matte carbon engine cover I have, plus the carbon battery cover. Progress pics to come this weekend on those; I'll just update this thread as I go along.
It's awesome to have it back to a state where I'm happy with it again. The fellas at the wheel refurbishers took pictures for their website too, which was pretty cool.
It still needs a DAMN good detail, but then I'll be fully happy. For a bit. Maybe.
Any way, just a few pictures with the limited time I have at the moment, so they're not in the most scenic location, but that's Salford for you.
