Hid kit - do I need glue??

Need help, jst bought an hid kit for my clio gt mk3 ph2. The car comes with projectors already but what I want to know is when I remove the standard bulb, what holds in the hid bulb? Will I need to glue it in place?

Uh shouldn't the bulb be the same fitment as your current bulb? Surely the bulb just replaces the current bulb and then you have the additional ballast or whatever it is

No, the standard metal clip will hold the new bulb in place. You'll have to take it off, put the new HID bulb in then put the clip back on again though as its a bit bigger than a standard bulb and theres the wires in the way as well. You'll see what I mean when it comes to fitting.
