hid-kit which colour??

full beam on it was TOTALY AND UTTERLY CRAP THOUGH! because it switches the HID off and just uses a small halogen crap bulb.. would be best if you could wire up so full beam has both bulbs working..

but when youve got mega stupidly bright dipped beam ya dont need a full beam really.

you dont like the blue?? thats the main characteristic of HID headlights?
they dont always look blue.. alot of the time theyre a very bright white.

I wouldnt go any higher than 6000k, the colour will get you pulled over and the higher the rating the duller the lights will be, i'm on 5000k and its like bmw's, mercedes etc

does that mean 5000k are brighter than 8000k?? are the kits easy to fit, could i fit them myself?? would want more of a blue colour which ones should i go for??

Yeah 5000k are brighter than 8000k, 6000k is a nice blue/white colour but any more and you might have police pulling you over and you might also fail an mot

imo yeah, 8000k is more a purple colour anyway, 5000k is more than enough really, i would get someone to install them for you though

Yeah i tried the philips blue vision bulbs but they werent anyway near what i wanted so i went hid route, hid's are so much brighter imo, the philips were ok but werent blue enough for me, i think i have a picture with blue visons in, will add it if i can find it

where did u get ur kit from ( 5k ) as the site i went to in the link dont sell 5k kits, thanks for the pics they look sweet as, just what im after.

yeah come to think of it, mine arent that blue... but they're just as bright.

yeah the blue visions were good, nice and bright, but the HID system is better though imo, my brother has got a new megane and he took the standard xenon pack, £800 iirc, his lights are not as blue more white but they are brighter than mine

i got a photo of mine being really white, 800k is diamond white or something.. ?

will need to resize it later though and post it..
