Are these illegal? Im looking into getting some for the 1.2 but won't bother if they arent road legal.

They're only illegal if they aren't focussed using projector style headlights.

Strictly speaking, illegal if fitted to any car without washers for the lamps. In reality, no one notices.

If you fit the HID bulb kits in your existing halogen reflector units, It scatters the beam everywhere sometimes blinding other drivers if not leveled correctly,

They will be OK, But not legal, Ive driven past many HID kit users and not been blinded, But they are still bright as f**k.

Its either getting sport xenons for the legal, And better way. That way the hid beam is sent through the projectors and scatters the beam propperly IIRC.

Or a HID kit, Which most will advise against.

ah ok, cheers very much. I don't want to risk dazzeling other drivers or get pulled. I'll have to bide my time & snap up a pair of xenons one day.
