I got 5000k's after having 8000k's for a while. I didn't think they were to blue, in fact they looked quite good! However they were crap in terms of light ouput (maybe because the 8000k's were cheap eBay jobbies!)
8000k is chavtastic, i have 6000k in mine and find them 100 times better than the standard 4300!! theres a thread on here somwhere that explains the colour temperatures.... yes 4300k is the brightest and the same as daylight on paper but to the human eye 6000k is lighter.
