HID's in Angel Eyes

The lights say that HID's are not meant to be put into the headlights, so I don't want to burn the lenses or melt them etc.
So I was wondering if there was any specific bulbs I can buy that still give that white xenon look that I'm after, hate the standard yellow colour, the bulbs are a H1 fitting by the way,

HID's won't melt headlights.

If they have the projector style lens, they should be alright.

But in some cases the projector lens in angel eyes isn't big enough to hold the HID bulb as they're longer than the halogen equivalent.

They have the projector lens' but like you say I'm not sure if the bulb will be too long so it doesn't sit flush and secure properly

I had HID bulbs in my angel eyes on my old car, thety were a right ballache to get in properly and sitting correct but they did go in eventually and nothing melted or broke.

Did you have to modify any clips or anything like that? Or was the bulb just a struggle to get in?

No modifying needed, just a lot of fiddling and positioning to get it in correctly

Were your angel eyes from 2xcite? I'm having trouble with the twin LEDs (both sides gone and one flickers), and the side light bulbs are a right James Blunt to change. Any helpz?
