HIDs not that bright

Went out for a drive tonight and had my low beam on and it didnt light the road up one bit! I have 6000k HID's in the dual optic headlights, but haven't had then aligned yet.

Would it be better after they've been aligned?

Sounds like they are pointing too high and not angled down down to the road.

I'm no expert but the "Optic headlight" bit sounds like the problem. I always thought you only got the right beam pattern from projectors with HIDs. Don't quote me though.

Dual optic is a projector headlamp, got them on some ph1 clios.

Just going fit my hids this weekend. So do I need my lights realigning? Surely its the equivalent to just fitting a new bulb?

I think so, but I did the dual optic conversion, so they werent aligned at all
