High idle

I have -01 sport, 1200rpm Idle when cold which is quite ok, as soon as the engine starts to heat up, the Idle rpm Will follow and stat at lowest 2000rpm which is approx 1200rpm to high, cleaned throttle body, lubricated iac valve, tried to cut the inlet to the iac without any difference = iac ok....im figuring about engine temp sensor, ok temp at the guage but i havent read out the value fr.o.m. The ECU sensor

Your expiriences and idieas?

bump, replaced the air inlet temp sensor + the iac valve - no change...help needed!

If it's a phase one it needs a new idle control valve if phas 2 possible new throttle body assembly

Could bee sucking air mate, would cause it to rev high. Check seals all across ghe inlet, injectors spark plugs etc.... If you think youve found a leak spray brake cleaner over were you think it is and it should rev up

If not its probably idle control valve. If you've had parts of and itts started doing it, try giving it a few good revs, then idle then a few more revs... Killing it the starting it up again.

-01 equal to phase 2, i have changed the idle air control valve, tried with brake cleaner to find air leaks....the funny thing is that i`m able to "brake"(clutch+brake pedal engaged - release the clutch pedal slowly) it down to 1100rpm...the it stays at 1100, as soon as i rev it up again..same high idle. air leak has taken it back directly, i will during this weekend look at all connection parts, i think it is a cannister on it..maybe something with that...

other ideas?
