High pitched squeak?

Noticed last night as I was driving around town with my friend, can hear a very high pitched squeak coming from the front drivers' side wheel, very annoying, only rattle/noise i've had since owning the car.

Is this whilst driving or whilst under braking?
Have you had it serviced at all recently?

Whilst driving, Not had it serviced in a while, MOT is this week so i'll have a proper decent service done after that.

Sounds like the brake pads binding on the disk.
Mine did this just before I replaced the disks and pads...

im the same oppostie, could be dirt on the disk, wheel bearing, cv boot thats wat ive been told could be, my cv boot is split so i think its that

Well I gave the car a b*****d of a wash today and the noise seems to have gone..

Doubt it was anything to do with worn pads/discs as i've done about 1,000 miles with the new ones hehe.
