HIGH TEMP PAINT

looking to get my calipers at the front painted in inferno on the 225.

can get the paint but it aint high temp.

does anyone know where i can get custom made high temp paint mixed up for me?

why not just buy the high temp paint from halfrauds its only a 5er i used it on my bike exhaust

Try your local motor factors or bodyshop supplies .

i have asked the bodyshop/sprayers next to my work, so he is gonna look into what components need to added to the paint to make it heat resistant.

buy some high temp laquer, you get it in a brake paint kit, then just add some inferno and give it a mix, dont mix to much paint into it tho. just enough to get a fairly decent colour

i've used just normal 2pc on calipers before and its been fine with the heat

hmmmm, tempted to try it but the brakes on the meg are quite big

no as in 2pc (professional bodyshop paint) sprayed properly and then baked, i had my V6 AP calipers done

aye yeah i know what it is, it is just a pain to remove them as i aint too gifted with a spanner when it comes to brakes. and to get a garage to do it involves more cost. was just looking for a spray on or paint on type application.

local paint shop recommended a celluose based paint for high temperature usage .


used it on my engine ...... fuel rail and plenum
