Hit a kurb!

  ?
About 20mph hit a kurb face on and front left wheel took the majority of the force of the impact. Flat tyre.

Spares on, theres no creaking in steering and car drives ok considering its on a 14" spare and the rest of my wheels are 16".

Now, is there a chance the alloy may be buckled? what i should i do? I was thinking just take it to get the front 2 tyres replace and tracking done. But what would you guys recommend?

  ?
Hmm, say the wheel is found to be "slightly" buckled in the sense that its not a perfect circle anymore, but only to the verrrry slightest extent, as i cant see any damage just about 2/3 inches where it looks a tiny bit off. What are the implications? will it be unstable at speed?

Obviously will be taking it to a garage tomorrow to check it out, think i definately need new tyres / tracking done at least!

a damaged wheel would be more likely to caust a blowout, be unstable and will also be weakened in the damaged area.

you would be mad to drive on a damaged wheel. Anything could happen causing harm to yourself, but more importantly those around you.

To be honest its not a damaged wheel, but just a bad bit of kurbing ;) ... but ill see what the garage says tomorrow.

  Lots of Alfas
Luckily its hit the strong point of the wheel where there is a spoke, I cant see that being buckled.
