trees dont move............fact:nono:

Found that out when i was in a car that hit one straight on at 40, the car wrapped around the tree... Puntos ftl.

Get checked out, then if things do worsen you have it on record you went to the hospital.

yeah im feeling okay now after 2 hours sleep (had to keep an eye on the clio as the door wont close dont want someoen knicking my tax, cd player or head rests :p) but I think ill take a run up today justfor a general check. phoning insurance in 10 minutes.

Was it icy? diesel on road? poorly repaired road surface? might be worth speaking to the police as other drivers may have come off there too, happened to my boss on his motorbike wrote it off and broke his collar bone where loose chippings hadn't been swept up on a bend, turned out several bikers came off there that week.

  Fiesta ST2
it was cold but not icey. wasnt anything on the road and the surface was fine. the roads are a bit geasey the police where out with me to help move the car. at the time two other cars lost control and they seen it so as soon as other cops arived they asked what happened and the police man i was speaking too said he spun - two others have from ive been here and they where like oh ok

Hmm thats looking like write off material to me, could have done untold damage to the allignment of the car etc.

Sorry to hear it though mate, terrible thing happened to me this time last year, back went in the wet, only hit a wall though not too much damage.

thats not too bad, New door and sill repair job done maybe a new wing...

Could of been worse you could of hit it head on that hurts esp in a 1.2 D reg Nova saloon at 30ish lol...

Get it to some garages before you claim on the insurance, as the repair work will prob be about £300ish for that.

  Fiesta ST2
nope the roof isnt kinked ill take it round a few garages mate but i cant even drive it at the minute i cant find the kill switch to over ride it plus the door wont close. ooops! i hope its not a write off i love my clio lol

**Update**

ive phoned the insurance people quinn direct they are going to call me within 24 hours. they also said for me to get a courtesy car it'll need to go to a garage first which wont be until tomorrow monday. no work for me on monday anyway

Just to warn you - be prepared for that to be written off.

We have a 57 plate campus in work with the exact same damage in the exact same place and it's been written off by the insurance company. Has it bent any of the dashboard/interior trim?

gutter for you:(

£300 thats what im qouted for respraying my rear bumper and reworking the rear quarter where i was hit !!! thats gonna be ALOT more !!!

ya looks like a write off to me sadly lad. im in the same boat as you hit my 2 and half month old mk3 few weeks before christmas. rear passengers side window hit the telegraph pole. destroyed the hole front of it in the inital hit but it all plastic so would of been fixable

did you take out gap insurance by any chance when you bought the car?

Mount of Mk3 on here ive seen that have been "crashed" in the last few months in unreal ! just goes to who how bad the handeling is at standard height !!!

Just because they've been crashed doesn't automaticaly reflect on the handling.

He sad a mk2 and a ford KA did the same thing wasn't just his car slipping about. I had to accidents in mine both had sod all to do with the 'handling'
