Hive - Central Heating

Has anyone purchased this and either had it installed or fitted it yourself? Whats you opinion? Is it better than Nest?

I'm tempted just not sure which version I need. I have a combi boiler so I think its the one that does heating only. Can I get the hot water one and not use that part unless needed in the future?

They sell 3 different types of receiver and I'm not sure which I'd need either.

Help would be appreciated. The Geolocation stuff sounds good.

If you have a combi you need the single channel version, nest controller is sexier but is not wireless like hive.

Nest is wireless, however you can use the existing controller wiring if you want. Replaced my old controller last month and use it wirelessly, looks amazing and works perfectly. Did look at Hive, but didn't like the design as much, but from memory it had pretty much the same features.
