Holiday pics + photos with bro's corsa

Car  Discounted 1*2 parts
Well I'm back from my holiday nice and relaxed!!

Went to the lake district and found plenty of awsome driving roads while we were there! Here is a few random holiday photos and below them are this afternoons cleaning session with me bro!

The first day we went in search of the highest road in the UK (Great Dun Fell - 848meters above sea level) but we got about 600 meters up and the roads were undriveable with the snow! So we gave that a miss and went to find 'High Force' (a waterfall about 25 miles away). The journey there took in this awsome road where I took the opportunity to take my first photos.

3rd day, went for another drive to find the A686 between Penrith and Alston. On the way found this railway bridge which looked a good location for a few more photos! I recommend anyone passing in this direction to drive this stretch of the A686 - one word amazing!

5th day, drove the A592 between Penrith and Windermere, again an epic road (part of which is know as the Kirkstone Pass). First photo shoot point!

From this pic you just make out how low the cloud level was and at about 450 meters up you couldn't see a thing!!

On the way home I got 45.6mpg which I thought was pretty impressive.

Spent most of today cleaning the car with me bro. So here is a few pics of both our, now clean, cars. I used snowfoam, megs gold class shampoo 2 bucket method, megs deep crystal polish and AG EGP.

Thanks for reading, I hope you like.

yea the weather was really kind to us while we were up there but it didnt get warm enough to melt all the snow and ice so couldnt make the most of the roads. May have to go back in the spring/summer!

Looked a good trip mate...
It must have taken you ages to post those pics.
What did you do to darken your front foglights ?

And has your bro's corsa had its front bumper painted at some point as its doesnt have much shine on the lower half compared to rest of car.

Lol yea it took a little while, longer than i expected (as usual!!)

Yea it was resprayed because he hit a kerb and ripped off the splitter. Also had the side skirts and arched colour coded at the same time. The quality of the work isnt that great but cost next to nothing. Will get a better job done when he can afford it!

Nice that!!

f**k not having a rear wiper in the UK though!
