Horn Connection

Hello CS,

The connections for my horn in the steering column cover has snapped!!

What can i do?

i wish i knew bud. i think its just down to movement over the years

You say they've snapped in the "column cover"... do you mean the wiring has snapped or the multiplug cos I'm not sure?

the red wire coming from the airbag section into the column cover has snapped

You're sure its not got snagged/caught anywhere as its rare that these things happen? Has it left enough 'free' cable to get a solder connection in?

Worrying its 'snapped' though but it has been cold recently... could have helped it along as its only thin guage wire IIRC.

yeah ive managed to solder the very litle but thats left, but i dont think it will last long

I'm having this issue aswel taken the steering wheel off but cant find any cable to solder to! Any help would be appreciated!
