how 2 wire a monitor help please

hi all, just bought a monitor and ps2 kit so that includes an invertor. just wondering how do i wire the monitor? it comes with a cig lighter but i dont wanna use that, looks a bit crappy in my opinion, please help me with the best way to wire it, step by step ? also my invertor comes with cig lighter, whats the best way to wire that ? also what about fuses and stuff, will i have to uprate them in any section ? helps please,

With mine i cut the cig lighter connector off (making sure u know which one is live and which is earth though!!!) I spliced into the power leads and earth for my stereo to power it (i think cant remember!!) The monitor should have a fuse in-line already so using that would be fine.

Yea, depending on the screen tho.

Some cant handle the voltage changes.. most can, some cant. In that case, you would need a regulated supply.

wired screen up to pos and neg on stereo, as 4 invertor i just plugged into cig lighter cuz its got one hell of a chunk assed wire!
