How exactly? no worse than a wet road, and it will wear off after 10 odd rotations on the tarmac.

I watched a program recently where a motorbiker died when he lost control of his bike on a corner. He wasn't going fast. Turns out it was because he had used tyre shine on more than just the sidewall which reduced his grip.

Maybe different in cars I guess

cars dont rely on the side walls of the tires to balance were as bikes do .
