How can I set the alarm off?

Im not sure if the my 172 has an alarm, it doesnt have the red light near the gear stick but has the red light flashing inbetween the speedo and rev counter.

How can I check?

Sit in car very still, lock car with blip sat inside, wait abit then move about.

Open the windows, lock it on the remote, wait for 30 seconds, open the door through the window.

Sounds like your car is an import then, red flashing light in the middle of the speedo is the immobiliser.

This just a sport thing? The two PH1's ive had have both had the flashing light in the middle of the speedo.

I spoke to Reno UK about it and they said it isnt an import as the car was registered in the UK first but was stood for 1 month in Belgium after was made. So prob Belgium spec!

No, an import is classed as registered first in another country.

It was made then sent to England via Belgium. Its weird

If its not got an alarm, window etchings or locking wheelnuts its an import.

It has locking wheel nuts and pretty sure has window etchings. No sensors at the top.

The guy at Reno UK as assured me it isnt an import
