How can you tell if your tripoding?

  182
Looking at that insane 3 wheeler in the media section, I was wondering... how can you tell if your tripoding? The faster I chuck the 182 into corners it starts to feel progressively different as a normal car would, but at what point would the wheel lift off the ground? And is there a way of telling?

My brother getting out of his car, running over to me, and saying excitedly "Man your wheel came off the ground going round that corner back there".

lol.

I can do it on a corner down my track but can't really be sure unless someone sees it. But I *think* I can kind of feel it hitting back down, but it might be in my head. And no-way as high as that pic. An inch tops.

Not sure my wife would like the idea of my leaving her in the cold whilst I hurtle past shouting, 'Did I do it?? Did I do it!??'

On Top Gear they got the wheel pretty high but you can never tell how much stick theyre giving it

I can't stop mine doing it since I've started left foot braking. Weight over the front, turn in, bingo.

I can really honestly say I've never ever felt it though. I can't understand what everyone says they can feel?

Might have to angle my mirror down or something and keep one eye on it and one on the road... driving dangerously ftw... :S

Power thru corners with perfect timing and speed and that usually gets it on 3 wheels for me. But as Mark said, I can't feel it happen.

At the Haynes Circuit (which is a tripoders delight) I swear I could feel a slight thud when the wheel hit the ground again, and after the event I got pics of my car on 3 wheels at the very points on the track where I could feel it.

I did it once in my 1.2, I could feel the wheel lift for a few seconds then thud back down. Turned out I'd run over a fox though!

Sometimes when powering through a tight turn and really going for it, it feels like the car suddenly really rolls and tightens up into the corner, and as I steer out of the corner it rolls back and does a little shimy with the rear... might this be it? Only does in on really smoothly surfaced corners if im giving it maximum attack. Rough surfaced corners and it just skips and understeers like a pig!
