How do i change the gear knob

I recently purchased a clio gear knob from ebay, however im having trouble taking the factory gear knob off. does any one know how to???

you will need to cut the old one off , its screwed and glued tight

cheers. what about the white plastic part underneath the rubber gear knob? can that be removed?

Cut it off with a hack saw.

make sure you've bought the correct pull up reverse gear knob , not sure what white bit , that should be part of the reverse lift system ?

yea iv brought the correct gear knob, thers a white plastic cover underneath the rubber gear knob. to fit my new gear knob i gota remove that part :dapprove:

yep , you'll be left with just the thread part of the gear stick
