how do i get over this??

iv got a little rust on my roof next to the sunroof where the paint has come off and its down to bare metal..

can anyone tell me how i can repair it?

looks like its dented too (most of them dent there)

you can mask off the sunroof surround, grind out the rust and fill the dent.

or proper way would be to drop your roof lining out, drop the sunroof out, panel it with a dolly and panel hammer, skim of filler, primer, paint, refit/reseal sunroof

cheers for that i might doing it the proper way like you said guna be a job though cos its dented all acros the front end of the roof where the bonnet flipped up when i was driving :dapprove:

if you got a garage itll be pretty simple to do, outside in this weather may be a problem.

as for the repair, itll be hard as the roof flexes so much, especially with the sunroof out.
