How do i get the keyfob open to change the battery?

I need to change the battery in my keyfob but I just cannot get it open to do it. Any suggestions or help?

kinda hard to explain but it slides apart

I can see the direction arrow on the keyfob but it just won't budge when I try to slide it apart, is there any special way of doing it?

Take it off the keyring. Get a flat screwdriver and wrap paper/tissue/whatever round the end so it doesn't mark. Put the end in the hole for the ring. Carefully lever the two sections apart (i.e. slide them apart as indicated by the arrow.)

I know what I mean - hope you do. Don't blame me if you break it.

it's going to be stiff. As said, remove the key ring and give it some welly
