As above, tried jacking it up and removing drivers arch liner, but there is no way my hands going in there!

Pull the sound proofing back on the bulkhead and reach down a little

The hole aint as far down as it might seem either.

There is limited movement for the hands but you;ll get it with a little bit of patience

Seriously can anyone give me an idea how do do this?
Read you do it through the wheel arc, don't see how unless you have the worlds smallest hands.
Can't pull the sound proofing back cos the air con pipes are in the way?

2 man job, get a mate to shine a torch in the hole the clutch cable goes into, then its a matter of perserverance.
Not that easy at all.

Where the cable comes through the bulkhead? It should be just below the brake lines on the drivers side.

But i can't get to it as the noise/heat stuff is in the way.

Well then pull it back.

Its held on by plastic gromits - impossible to miss.

If you are pulling the cable out you'll see where it enters / exits through the bulkhead.

I managed to do it on my own but it wasnt the easiest of jobs

You dont need to do it through the wheel arch. Its all done by leaning into the engine from the top. Threading it along the back of the engine is best with a combo of getting underneith the car and looking in via the top of the engine
