How do I operate Headlight Washers?

Looked in the manual - says to pull the wiper stalk towards with headlights on.

Nothing, please help me with my dilemma - I mean come on - all that extra weight I cant use.

iirc do you not have to have your headlights switched on when you do it?
I think you have to pull it back for so long as well, doesnt just come straight on when it does the windscreen.

You have to hold it down with your lights on, it occurs after about 2 seconds. You can hear the extra motors buzzing away when it happens. If it doesn't happen they they're fucked.

It really pisses me off when I've just cleaned the motor and need to clean the screen. I turn my lights off for a second and do it.
