How do I remove this plastic trim...

Hi. I want to remove this plastic trim in the dash of my 172 to try to fix an annoying rattle but I don´t wanna break it.

Any help?

Could be wrong but think you have to take the entire dash off!

I think its the whole dash too!

yep, you are all right, it involves the removal of the entire dash top!

as you can see above its all one piece you can see the part you wanted to take off looks loose thats because i broke the clip thinking that it came off, so had to glue it back together.

those renault b******s !! hehe, isnt there a guide somewhere for removing the 172 dash?

or there was a thread a while back which had pics and details on how to do it.. do a search

I did a search but didn´t find the post. I also remember the guide but I guess it dissapear.

Since am I not very skillfull I think I am going to use some double sided tape.
