how do i reset the trip computer?

i have looked everywhere and i cant find out how do reset my trip computer. do i hold the trip computer button down? because that hasnt worked. what are the two right hand buttons on the steering wheel do?

Take the negative terminal off the battery for 20 mins, Then re-connect.

I just hold down the button between the dials.

mk2 use the reset button on dials, mk3 hold both trip computer buttons in for 5 seconds
