How do i turn an ".rm" file into an mp3?

it plays in real player but wont burn to CD or play in any other format.. have tried to open it in sound forge and change it that way buit it wont work.. ive done it before i cant remember how though!!!

While it's playing, record it using Audacity or similar then save it as an mp3.
